She knew it was about her by the second line
Made this for my sister’s 30th. The bit about our terrible road trips made her laugh, then the chorus got her. She sent it to our family group chat before the song had even finished.
Reviews
Customer reviews tell the story of what happened when the song played. Here is how we collect them; fictional sample stories preview the wall until our first ten arrive.
Three days after a song is given we send one email: “How did it land?” with a one-to-five rating. Every buyer, whatever the score, is then invited to write a few lines; a rating of three or below also opens a line to support, answered within 24 hours.
Only a paid order can leave a customer review, so every published customer review is a verified purchase: the buyer’s chosen name, the occasion, the month, and the mark that means the order exists in our system. A person reads each review before it goes up, only to keep out contact details, abuse and anything not about the song, never to filter by score, and the buyer is told either way. All approved reviews are shown, positive and negative; the average is the plain mean of their stars. We do not buy reviews, we do not import them from elsewhere, we do not pay or reward anyone for one, we do not show an overall customer rating until there are at least ten reviews, and we will not quote a reaction from a gift page unless the recipient ticked the box that lets us.
If you have had a song from us and want to tell us something, reply to any of our emails or write to [email protected].

Honestly wasn’t sure what to expect. I wrote about the café where we met and how she still steals my chips. Played it after dinner and she asked to hear it again. We’ve had it on in the car all week.
I never know how to say this stuff without feeling awkward. Put in a few memories about Mum driving us to swimming at 6am and always being there. She rang me straight after listening. We both cried a little.
The first version was a bit too upbeat for what I had in mind. Preferred the other take and changed one line in the lyrics before recording. Gave it to my wife the morning of our wedding. Very glad I did.
My best friend moved away so I made her a song about our flat, the broken kettle and our Sunday walks. Thought it might be cheesy but it sounded lovely. Her reply was a voice note of her laughing and crying.
Dad is impossible to buy for. We wrote down his usual sayings and a story about teaching us to ride bikes. He didn’t say much when we played it, just gave us both a hug. Later Mum said he’d listened three more times.
Takes about five minutes. Nothing to pay until you have heard it.
